I have seen other art forms done with a type of papercrete and it can be very forgiving when you learn to work with it at the right strength. Did you use water sealer of some type in the mix? I live in East Texas and it is much like where you are and can get very wet at times. That play house you built was very real looking. Did you use bottles in the walls? I knew a man in Florida that built a house with concrete and bottles that looked like yours.
